There is dangerous ingredients in anti aging skin products and makeup.

This is a frightening assertion. Regrettably it’s true. In the USA a variety of skin care treatments, anti aging products, makeup, personal and beauty products such as soaps, shampoos, deodorants and toothpaste contain dangerous chemical ingredients.

Many of these substances haven’t been tested for basic safety on people. Several come from the distillation of crude oil, which means that they are a petrochemical. A number of these have been associated with a number of of health conditions. Some are even recognized to trigger cancers.

It may astonish you that in a country such as ours an enormous business such as this puts dangerous chemical ingredients in it’s treatments and places the safety and health of the people of the nation in danger. Unfortunately it’s true.

Lots of the components used in  a number of these products such as our anti aging skin treatments and a whole lot more are restricted in The European Union but they are permitted in our products in America.

The problem is so terrible that you now have organisations set up to make an effort to battle this expansion of chemical ingredients in your personal treatments. Two of the more well known are the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and Teens Turning Green. Both have web sites you can find on a quick Google search, and both highlight the possible dangers of utilizing so many of the every day treatments you almost certainly have in your bathroom today.

The problem stems from the truth that our government will not make any real effort to manage what goes into these treatments. The FDA just isn’t forced to satisfy itself that any of the components in these types of products are safe. And big enterprise being what it is if they can get away with it they are going to. These anti aging skin products and others generate many millions of dollars each year.

Organisations including the two I have described are battling a long uphill battle to attempt to reverse the dilemma. They’re battling hard.
