What You Can Do to Look Younger

1.Daily Cleansing: Take your makeup off at night; do not sleep with it on. Your skin needs to breath and makeup clogs up your pores. Find a natural and /or organic skin cleanser and use it daily, once in the morning and once at night.

2. Moisturize: When considering a moisturizer for your skin, choose ingredients that are natural or organic and stay away from skincare products that contain parabens. Parabens are preservatives that contain chemicals; they will have a longer shelf life than skincare products that contain organic preservatives. But they are still chemicals you are putting on the largest organ you have and yes your skin is an organ. An Aloe Vera Moisturizer can be a good choice; it is know to have almost magical healing powers.

3. Hydration: Stay hydrated, by drinking an ample amount of water, say six to eight glasses daily, you’re overall health will benefit while retaining additional moisture in your skin. Consequently, you will have younger looking skin.

4. Sunscreen: There is no solid evidence that a sunscreen will prevent cancer but we do know that with a minimum SPF 30 sunscreen it seems to lessen damage to the skin. Look for ingredients that block the UVB rays and use protective clothing.  

5. Smoking: Smoking will make you look older and is attributed to early aged facial wrinkles. If you’re not a smoker don’t even think about it. Smoking tobacco will, as well, hurt your overall health and to put it bluntly it could hasten the “Grim Reaper”.     

6. Diet: You can contribute to your skin looking younger by committing to eating and drinking healthy foods. So it’s not only what you topically apply to your skin but your diet. What you eat can help keep away those dreaded wrinkles.

7. Vitamins: Vitamins are an essential faction in a quest to inhibit the aging process. Vitamins contain antioxidants that will give you more ammunition in the battle to fight aging and wrinkled skin.

8. Sleep: Getting that adequate 8 hours of sleep at night will not only help you by fighting off those dark circles from your eyes, but it helps your body to regenerate new skin.

In summation, it’s easy to grow old but being attractive and healthy along the way will lead to a more fulfilling journey.Because our Skin is an organ, and like any other organ within our body, we should do our best to protect it.
